Blue Thursday

Ain't got much to say for today; one of Carolyn's employees had a fender-bender in a company van last evening. She was off from work and in a place where she had no business taking the van. She was careless and hit a stopped car in the rear. No one injured and little car damage, but the employee was charged for following too close. Carolyn is in a bad mood this morning and you know who is catching hell. After 75 years of marriage, I'm pretty well used to it; the duck's back thing, you know.

Have a Thursday!

75 YEARS OF MARRIAGE!!! Are you pulling my leg? holy crow that is a long time.
I guess the "ducks back" applies if you have been married that long for sure. I hope Mike and I are married for 1,000 years but are just approaching 15.
My son is in Tallahassee this week partying with buddies. No surprise that he wants to switch from Orlando college to Tallahassee college now. Mamma bird is grumbling and muttering. Its hard to take when they slip through your fingers. Mike won't let me get another bird to fill the hole either.
I bet having employees working for you unmonitored can be trying.
Have a better tomorrow, hey?

46 years of marriage, actually; this morning felt like 75. If she reads this I'm in trouble again!

If your son switches to Tallahassee, he will be near all those wild chicks at Florida State U.; they will surely give him a Master's degree in no time.

It is tough to have employees; at one time she had eight and it was almost a full-time job keeping track of them.

Thanks, Tammy. :-)

I knew it wasn't 75. Your fingers wouldn't work so well if you were 90 or so.
You aren't helping me with the school situation. I'll send him off with a penicillin shot, a good lecture, and a box of Trojans. He called me at 1 p.m. today after just waking up. and he is posting his drunken photos on FB... stupid child. He knows I can see them.
The seedlings fly in the wind don't they?

Difficult situation. Our daughter was in college in Tel-Aviv for some time, and one day it was obvious for us that the things are not going well. We were so helpless. It was much better when she got back home. We insisted on this returning. She graduated Warsaw University in 2009.

Tammy, Ken is wise, and he will have for you a good advice. Hugs!
… I love the photo!

I'm proud we parents didn't act like your boy when we were young.
He will be fine; your good raising will prevail in the end and you will smile when HIS kid goes off to school. Are you ready to be a grandma?
Your seedling will put down his roots sooner than you know. Look at Mark; he made through the 80's and that is saying a lot. He and your boy have good genes.

Thanks, Tammy. :-)

It must be scary to have your child that far away in school, especially with all the turmoil in that region. But look at her now, back in Warsaw, working, and making you and your husband very proud. Family is what counts most, and your girl and Tammy's boy have nurturing parents.

Thanks, Jola. :-)

Carolyn's employee is lucky she still has a job. In most cases that would be the end of working.

Going to school at FSU, party time.

I hear the FSU kids like to get down. Tammy will go nuts if she worries too much about her boy vs world.
