Maybe a little snow tonight; temperature around 20F — -6.7C. So much for last week’s spring-like feel.
Supper last night: Hunk of mild cheddar cheese, hunk of summer sausage, pickled okra, crackers.
I’m reading a very good book titled Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore. One of the best reads I’ve had in quite awhile. I recently finished Rendezvous With Rama, a popular science-fiction novel from the early 1970′s.
Have a warm Thursday … if possible.

our weather seems to be following the same patterns. This always amazes me, considering our opposite corners of the continent.
Back to the books! :-}}
The weather here seems to be undergoing big changes; summers and autumns have become warmer and drier and ... who knows?
like e-readers; finish a book and within a few seconds you can have another in your hand.
I had to get the 'sample' of your Mr. Penumbra's 24-hour bookstore on my Ipad and plowed through the 92 pages in short order. I will probably have to buy it, too. Sounds good.
On the google+ it is taking me time to find my way around too. There are icons down the left side of your profile. If you click communities you can find something you might be interested in joining or reading. Lots of stuff on there! I am leery of adding photos, as some time ago I read that Picasa owns your photos when you use it and of course that is what we use to upload. If we delete anything from google+ it will be deleted from Picasa and from blogger. I think there is a limit to how much we can load to our Plus... but not sure now... have to review that. So, it seems to me that loading to the Plus could be a trap. Good thing I don't intend to spend much time there either. There are communities where you can go read discussions like some of the helpful groups on Flickr. I used to just lurk on Flickr for years and that is the same now. There are groups with information that is useful :-}}
I am just now to the part where Mr. Penumbra has gone missing. Getting better and better.
Yep, I play Angry Birds from the sidebar and visit a few other places. G+ is probably better than FB but in the end, they do the same job ... not much. :-)
As far as I know, Picasa owns rights to your photos as long as they are on Google's servers. I think I read in Flickr's terms of service that they also own rights to the ones on Yahoo servers. What to do!? Just keep on saying "dammit"! :-)
