Not much happening today, except traffic was/is terrible. I don't know how such an insignificant rat hole like Johnson City can have so many cars on the street at the same time. The worse part of it is, the city traffic engineer is pathetic at his job. He couldn't time a turtle race, let alone a traffic light.

There are still some good preachers left and were some in the past. My Dad was what would be called today a Bi-vocational preacher. He pastered small churches that couldn't pay big salaries and had to have a another job to support his family.
The chuch I attend now dismissed services tonight so we could spent time with family.
Have a Great 4th of July.
God bless American and thank God for our freedom that other coutries don't have.
Alice
You know what kind of preacher I'm talking about.
I still believe that it isn't right to take money for speaking the word of God. In your Dad's time, things were different. Lots of people there and here were illiterate or so busy trying to make ends meet, that it was an acceptable and honorable profession. Not anymore. I'll soon get into my thoughts on the interpretation of the Bible.
