Marijuana has been legal in Colorado since the first of this young
year and the world hasn’t stopped turning and the polar ice caps didn’t
finish melting. What have we become? Allowing gay people to marry and
allowing legal pot smoking, we are bound to be a nation who must bear
the wrath of God. We even allow men to have long hair and women to wear
pants and shorts in public. We got down from our camels and invented
automobiles which is surely an abomination. We put away our clay tablets
and sharp sticks to invent paper to write on; unheard of in the days of
Moses. We even buy most of our clothing from an atheist Chinese
communist nation. A huge part of our oil supply comes from a part of the
world whose ubiquitous religion vows to destroy Christianity. We are in
debt to countries who hate us. We allow our kids to carry assault
weapons to school and kill students and teachers. Our largest
corporations are wholly or partly owned by foreign companies who pay
little if any taxes in the good old U.S.A. Used to be politicians would
deny being owned by Big Business but now they are open about it and
proud of it. What is to become of us? Only God knows.
I hate the quality of tomatoes at this time of year.
